AHHHHH LEE AND MEL GET MARRIED TOMORROW!!
I'm packing my bags and checking them twice (don't have a list of those who're naughty or nice... sorry - Christmas on the brain already....), all ready to head down to Bournemouth tonight.
When I met up with Lee and Mel for their pre-shoot, it was a breath of fresh air. I hadn't seen Lee for about 10 years (I knew him back when I used skateboard a bit, and he was a BMX rider) and I've never met Mel before, other than online with a few conversations about their day.It was like meeting two other peas in a pod, and I honestly think we spent more time chatting and catching up like old friends that we did shooting.
We headed into some woodland just past Hurn and towards the New Forest, hung out in the car for a while (to wait out the rain) and ran out to take some shots and have a wander. We also stumbled upon the Avon Causeway Railway - which seemed like a pretty apt place to take some shots (Lee works as a train engineer) and had an impromptu pub dinner (to warm up, obviously...).
Anyway - it was all pretty awesome, and to say I'm excited about what's in store for their day tomorrow is an understatement. I know these guys are going to smash their wedding day - so keep your eyes on the blog and Facebook page for sneaks next week :)
